Above is a 4th grade science unit presentation I created for Big Idea 12. It covers 5 days of content and the handouts I created are also within the shared link drive.

My goal for this unit was to connect students to the content with engaging activities.

Book Talks by Mrs. Hernandez

Reading is so important for everyone. This is why I have put together book talks to share with students so they may find more books to read based on their interests.

In the future, I hope to create student-created databases of book talks, which can grow each school year as my students share about books they have read.

Pero, Why?

At the start of 2021, I made it a goal to publish my own children's book. I mentored a small group, with online training and a guided plan as I completed my own as well. The book trailer above, is for "Pero, Why?", my book published on March 30, 2021.
